BR-G-04 — EN 16931 business rule
BR-G-04 is one of the EN 16931 business rules published by CEN/TC 434, part of the BR-G — VAT category: Export outside the EU family. To check a document against it, use the free EN 16931 validator.
These are the EN 16931 business rules of this family, as published by CEN/TC 434 in the validation artefacts that accompany the standard. BR-G-04
An Invoice that contains a Document level charge (BG-21) where the Document level charge VAT category code (BT-102) is "Export outside the EU" shall contain the Seller VAT Identifier (BT-31) or the Seller tax representative VAT identifier (BT-63).
